Eden Doctors Chamber runs a polyclinic and diagnostic centre in Newtown, Kolkata. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, by phone and on WhatsApp, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
What We Collect
- Details you give us: your name, phone number, email address, age, preferred date, doctor or test, and any message you send through the appointment, contact or feedback forms, by phone or on WhatsApp.
- Health information: symptoms or notes you choose to share when booking and, once you are our patient, your prescriptions, test results and reports.
- Technical information: like most websites, our hosting records basic request logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) to keep the site secure and working. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Please do not include your full medical history in website forms. Share it with your doctor during the consultation instead.
How We Use It
- To confirm, schedule and remind you about appointments and home sample collections
- To provide care, deliver your reports and share prescriptions with you
- To reply to your enquiries and feedback
- To meet our legal and regulatory obligations as a healthcare provider
We do not sell your personal information or use it for advertising.
Who We Share It With
- Dr. Lal PathLabs, our pathology partner, receives the details needed to process your samples and issue your report.
- Messaging services such as WhatsApp and SMS carry the confirmations and reports you ask us to send.
- Other doctors, only when you ask us to share a report with them.
- Authorities, only when the law requires it.
Our contact page shows an embedded Google Map, and our chat button opens WhatsApp. Google and WhatsApp handle any information they collect under their own privacy policies.
Patient Stories
Stories are published only with your written consent, and we never include clinical details or identifying information.
How Long We Keep It
Enquiries are kept only as long as we need them to respond. Medical records are kept for the period required by law and for as long as they are needed for your continuing care.
Your Choices and Rights
You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it where you gave consent. Some medical records must be kept by law even after a deletion request; we will tell you when that applies.
Information about a child is collected only from, and with the consent of, a parent or guardian.
